Really clear, easy to follow instructions - love the back story - technically it's older than 150 years old (that's a bonus)
Starter is coming to life & giving a predictive rise & fall - cant wait to be able to use it - not long to wait now - better to wait a few more days than start too early and have a disappointing result.
This starter replaces an 87 year old starter that I had previously, - the jar had got smashed during a house move :-(
I am in heaven! Never did I think that I could create such delicious bread. The starter is wonderful, I love being a part of this tradition of bakers, and the directions were clear and easy to use. I can't thank you enough!
I am still working on getting my sourdough "sourer". With that said, my first loaf can out pretty good. Can I assume that the more I feed and discard, the more sour it will become?
