I’m saving his magnificence in the event my other starters go south. My original starters finally are thriving, but it will be nice to have this starter in the bank. Delivery was quick!

I've struggled with my starter for years, bin it totally, start again get it going, then something happens, my starter dies, bin it. I have a couple of loaves fro my own starter. But not hugely impressive.
B U T!!!!!!!! Came across Kensington SD on a popular social media website.
I thought what the heck. Lets give it a try. Looks impressive, great write ups. Yes, lets do this. Well my envelope arrive with its little sachet of powder, i read the instructions two or three times. Put it to one side.........
Some weeks later after i had found a hood SD jar!!!. I set to reviving "Herman" day2 got a few bubbles, day 3 got lots of bubbles, day Herman ia almost off out of his 1000ml jar. And i can see him off across my counter top too in the next couple of days.
If you my absolute recommendation.

Perfection. I followed the directions they sent (I even said nice things to my starter when thry told me to. Dont knock it. It worked.) it activated perfectly and I’ve been baking for a couple months with it. I had bought 2 because I didnt trust my self not to mess it up, but ive gofted it to my mom so she can get started too.
