Very Happy

Hi, I am very pleased with my purchase
from Kensington Market. My starter did exactly what they said it would do and now as of today it is ready for me to bake with it.
Tomorrow will be day 7, but after feeding this morning it doubled, so I’m going to make sourdough waffles or bread. I haven’t decided yet. I admit I’m a little nervous though. Hopefully all will go well.

Surprised next day

I must admit I was disappointed after day 7, the feeding process went well but when I mixed the starter with additional flour and water to prepare my loaf , I was getting no rise at all after 6 hours.
I decided to leave it on the counter over night and to my surprise I found a mushroom shaped dough overflowing my bread pan .
I immediately put it in the oven and out cam the most delicious loaf I have ever made .
Not the prettiest, but best tasting for sure .
