It blew us away! But in a good way...

I purchase this with the intention to have a backup just incase my 1 year old homemade started did not revive strong enough from the fridge.
It came very fast in the mail and the instructions to activate it was very clear. On day 3, Quirky Ken (that's what we're calling him) rose and overflowed the jar in the oven within 4hours of feeding. And kept overflowing every hour after that 🫢. He was ready to be baked with on day 6. Just under 2 weeks in, and I've made 6 loaves and 30 bagels with him and they are super soft.
It was a such a good purchase and so far I have no regrets. Thank you Kensington Sourdough.

It's alive!

It's definitely a learning process but my attempts at starting my own were failures! Made delicious blueberry muffins with discard and first two loaves were edible. Will keep experimenting until I find the perfect recipe 😋

Finally, success!

After struggling to make my own starter and failing in so many different way, I bit the bullet and made this purchase.

My goal is to make loaves that are consistent. And with your started, I have achieved that. I'm making a loaf on a weekly basis and my family can't get enough
